Harvey Bradley, co-head of global interest rates at the Federal Reserve at Insight Investment, said in a report that the interest rate cut environment may be good news for those investing in U.S. bonds through a global diversified fixed income portfolio. While tariffs could still lead to higher inflation, the Fed is expected to cut interest rates on Wednesday. Given the relatively stubborn inflation in the United States, the market will closely monitor the Federal Reserve's latest "dash chart" forecast for future interest rate cuts after September. In our view, while inflation may complicate the results, we believe the Fed will be prepared to “ignor” inflation above target to protect the labor market.
