Despite the positive appeal of the industry, cryptocurrencies are not mentioned in the UK-US technology agreement

The U.S. and UK governments have announced a "technology boom protocol" that will cooperate in the fields of artificial intelligence, quantum computing and nuclear energy, but the protocol does not mention cryptocurrencies or blockchains. Although crypto industry groups in the UK lobby for digital assets and stablecoins to be included in the agreement, the initial statement did not cover the area. Leaders of the two countries will meet later this week, and industry representatives still hope to add something to the last minute.
