FINRA announces launch of cryptocurrency and blockchain education program

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) launches a new cryptocurrency and blockchain education program in partnership with Georgetown University to provide self-programmed online learning and offline courses. The program will be launched in October and covers terminology, blockchain operations, crypto assets, markets, fraud schemes and compliance considerations. The program is designed to support member companies in dealing with evolving encryption technology and combating fraud.
