Metaplanet strategically acquires Bitcoin.jp domain name and establishes two new subsidiaries

PANews reported on September 17 that according to Metaplanet's announcement, it has strategically acquired the Bitcoin-related domain name "Bitcoin.jp" and established a complete subsidiary "Bitcoin Japan Co., Ltd.". The company will be responsible for operating Bitcoin-related media, events and services, including Bitcoin.jp, Bitcoin Magazine Japan and the future Bitcoin Japan Conference. In addition, Metaplanet has established a new subsidiary "Metaplanet Income Corp." in the United States, focusing on Bitcoin revenue business and related derivative transactions. Metaplanet said that the acquisition of domain names and the establishment of subsidiaries will enhance operational transparency and profitability, provide important support for its Bitcoin ecosystem layout, and further enhance its competitiveness in the global Bitcoin market.
