U.S. Treasury yields remain stable before Fed rate decision

Source: CoinWorld
During the Asian trading period, U.S. Treasury yields remained stable, and the market was waiting for the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision. "The possibility of the Fed cutting interest rates by 25 basis points tonight is extremely high, but it cannot completely rule out the possibility of a 50 basis point cut," Nordea Bank forex and fixed income strategist Amanda Sundstrom wrote in a research note. The bank expects most of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) members to support a 25 basis point cut, and Chairman Powell will hint at his October meeting. Tradeweb data shows that the 2-year U.S. Treasury yield is 3.507%, the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield is 4.023%, and the 30-year U.S. Treasury yield is 4.643%. (Golden and Stone)
