Coinbase Hacker suspect has more than 10,000 customer data on his mobile phone

According to ChainCatcher, court documents reveal more details about the Coinbase data breach. TaskUs (Coinbase Outsourcing Customer Service) Indian Indore Center employee Ashita Mishra has stolen sensitive customer information, including social security numbers and bank accounts, since September 2024, and sold it to hackers for $200 per photo to impersonate Coinbase employee to scam users. Mishra has over 10,000 customer data on her mobile phone, and she can secretly take pictures of up to 200 account information every day. The leak affected more than 69,000 customers and is expected to cause up to $400 million in losses to Coinbase.
