Chihiro Technology to acquire Web3 fintech company Punk Code for no more than HK$25 million

According to Bijie.com, on September 17, according to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange announcement, Hong Kong-listed company Qianxun Technology issued an announcement stating that it has signed a non-legally binding memorandum of understanding on the potential acquisition and will acquire 100% of the equity of Web3 fintech company Punk Code for no more than HK$25 million. The latter's founding team mainly comes from Tencent. In 2020, they participated in the establishment of Tencent Hong Kong virtual bank Fusion Bank, exploring scenarios such as blockchain finance and digital assets. Founder Mr. Cai Yige graduated from the Department of Computer Science at Nanjing University. He joined Tencent in September 2004. He has served as the head of QQ membership business, reading and animation business and the general manager of Tencent’s blockchain business.
