According to BlockBeats, on September 17, the stablecoin protocol Yala disclosed in the latest report on the attack incident that the hacker used the deployment temporary key to establish a forged cross-chain bridge on September 13, over-minting 30 million YUs, and cashing out about 7.64 million USDC (1,636 ETH), and some funds have flowed into Tornado Cash. The event did not involve Bitcoin reserves. The hacker has returned approximately 22.28 million YU. Yala announced that it will destroy all illegally cast YUs on September 23, resume 1:1 redemption of USDC, and initiate the liquidation compensation application process, while strengthening cross-chain security audit and multi-party control mechanisms.
