VivoPower International (VVPR) announced that its mining subsidiary Caret Digital will expand its business and convert the mined tokens into Ripple (XRP), claiming to receive a 65% discount on effective exposure. The company currently mines Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin, but does not disclose the specific amount or tokens involved. The move is part of its two-pronged funding strategy that combines token swaps with Ripple equity acquisitions to reduce acquisition costs. VivoPower has also expanded its XRP ecosystem program, including its electric vehicle division Tembo accepting Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin and investing $30 million in institutional earnings projects. XRP is trading at over $3 and has a market capitalization of $182 billion.
