Move Industries announced that Movement Network will transition from sidechains to autonomous Layer 1 blockchain, enabling more than 10,000 transactions per second, native MOVE token staking, and Move 2.0 language support. This upgrade aims to achieve mainstream applications, augmented real-world asset tokenization performance and mobile experience, without user operations during the migration. The main network is scheduled to be launched by the end of 2025.
