Three Swiss banks complete Ethereum cross-bank payment pilot

PANews reported on September 16 that according to CoinDesk, Swiss banks UBS, PostFinance and Sygnum successfully tested cross-bank payments on the Ethereum public chain, using Deposit Tokens to achieve legal settlement between banks without the need for traditional payment systems. The pilot covers point-to-point payments between customers and the exchange of deposit tokens and assets, verifying the technical and legal feasibility. The next step will promote more banks, infrastructure and regulators to participate and explore large-scale application of the system.
