Source: CoinWorld
The Ethereum Foundation has launched a four-week Fusaka upgrade audit competition to offer up to $2 million in rewards for security researchers who find vulnerabilities before a hard fork, possibly in the fourth quarter. The competition is hosted by Sherlock and co-sponsored by Gnosis and Lido, which lasts from September 15 to October 13, with a 2x bonus multiple in the first week and a 1.5x bonus multiple in the second week. The upgrade includes about a dozen Ethereum Improvement Solutions (EIPs), focusing on security, throughput and efficiency, with a goal of still ending 2025.
