Russia's attack on Romanian elections affects 1.3 million voters

Romanian prosecutors sued former presidential candidate Calin Georgescu and 21 others for allegedly planning Russian-backed cyberattacks and disinformation plans to ensure he won the November 2024 election with the aim of subverting Romania's constitutional order.
