British MP Chris Holmes joins the Avalanche Foundation Board

The Avalanche Foundation has appointed Chris Holmes, a U.K. House of Lords, to its board of directors for his expertise in technical policy and regulation. Holmes has assisted in passing the Electronic Trade Documents Act, which gives blockchain-based documents the same legal effect as paper documents. He will assist the foundation in promoting regulatory dialogue and promote the application of blockchain technology worldwide. Foundation Director Nicolas Lemaitre said Holmes’ guidance is crucial to maintaining openness and trust standards in the digital economy.
