Folks Finance partnered with a Georgian licensed virtual asset services provider (VASP) to launch a regulated decentralized finance (CeDeFi) mobile application that provides KYC, hosting and on-chain collateralized debit card services. The application will run independently while integrating some DeFi capabilities, designed to balance compliance with decentralization. Founder Benedetto Biondi emphasizes pragmatic and openness, which will not cut off users' access to non-licensed DeFi while ensuring users' security. FOLKS tokens will be integrated with protocols and regulated applications.
