Saipem is in preliminary negotiations with Fincantieri on the sale of subsea drone assets

Saipem SpA is in preliminary negotiations on the sale of robotics and underwater assets, and Fincantieri SpA will merge with Subsea 7 SA. The Italian government will participate to ensure strategic assets remain at home. As Saipem is evaluating a disposal plan including a sale or joint venture, the negotiation is still in a trial phase and may not be carried out.
