Santander's Openbank launches cryptocurrency trading service

PANews September 16th news, according to Bloomberg, the online bank Openbank, a subsidiary of Santander Group, has launched cryptocurrency trading services to German retail customers, supporting Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Polygon and Cardano, and will expand more tokens in the coming months. Openbank plans to promote the service to Spanish customers within weeks. The transaction fee is 1.49%, with a minimum of 1 euro per transaction and no custody fee. Santander is also preparing to issue stablecoins.
