Hong Kong bans former Citi chief trader Hayes from engaging in related business within five years

The Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong has banned Richard Heyes, former head of pan-Asian equity business in Citigroup Global Finance, from returning to the securities industry within five years. Previously, the committee found that Hayes failed to ensure adequate policy, system control and proper training for traders.
