XRP ETFs are listed to test investor demand

Source: CoinWorld
The REX-Osprey XRP ETF (XRPR) launched this week will test demand for XRP spot exposure. Operating under the 1940 Act, the ETF invests 80% of its funds in XRP without the approval of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Although the futures-based XRP ETF has $1 billion in assets, there is uncertainty about spot demand. Bitwise and Franklin Templeton have applied for similar products, but the absence of BlackRock and Fidelity has raised concerns.
