Avantis (AVNT) transaction volume exceeds $2 billion, Bubblemaps warns of witch attacks in token airdrops

AVNT, a native token of Avantis, a Base-based decentralized perpetual exchange, rose 30.6% in 24 hours to $1.13, with trading volume surged 280% to more than $2 billion after Binance, Upbit and Bithumb went online. However, analytics platform Bubblemaps found that more than 300 wallets were attacked by Sybil, resulting in the airdrop of $4 million tokens, and the integrity of its token distribution remains worrying despite the token’s market capitalization of $296.5 million.
