Michael Saylor, Fred Thiel and other cryptocurrency advocates will meet with U.S. lawmakers on Tuesday to promote the BITCOIN Act. The bill proposes to build strategic Bitcoin reserves by adopting a budget-neutral strategy to acquire one million Bitcoins (BTC) within five years. The bill was re-arranged by Senator Cynthia Lummis in March, aiming to see Bitcoin as a reserve asset similar to gold. The roundtable discussion will focus on promoting legislation and winning bipartisan support, and the bill is currently only supported by the Republican Party.
