Robinhood expands private equity token promotion with new venture capital fund

Robinhood is about to launch Robinhood Ventures Fund I, a closed-end fund designed to provide retail investors with opportunities to invest in pre-IPO equity in leading private companies. The fund is awaiting approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to trade on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) to bridge the gap in private equity market access. Previously, the company has recently promoted tokenized stock issuance in the EU. Robinhood shares fell 1.4% to $113.39.
