Davide Crapis, a core researcher at the Ethereum Foundation, published an article saying that the Ethereum Foundation is launching a new AI team (dAI team), whose mission is to build Ethereum into the preferred settlement and coordination layer for the AI ​​and machine economy. The team will focus on two main areas: one is the AI ​​economy based on Ethereum, providing AI agents and robots with no intermediary payment, coordination and rules-compliant ways to handle AI agents and robots; the other is a decentralized AI stack that ensures that future AI does not rely on a few entities, but has an open, verifiable and censor-resistant alternative. The team will work closely with the Ethereum ecosystem project to promote research and innovation in the cross-field of AI and blockchain, connecting two communities that have developed in parallel for a long time. The team, led by Davide Crapis, has now begun hiring new members to build the future of decentralized AI.
