France may ban some EU crypto companies from operating, calling on ESMA to unify supervision

According to Wu, the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) said it may prohibit cryptocurrency companies licensed through other EU countries to operate in France due to concerns that regulatory requirements are too loose. France, Austria and Italy jointly call on the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) to uniformly regulate major crypto companies and support the revision of MiCA to strengthen supervision of crypto activities and cybersecurity outside the EU.
