BNB Chain wallet browser extension will be officially discontinued on October 15

The BNB Chain Wallet (BEW) browser extension will be officially discontinued on October 15, 2025, when the extension will be removed from each extension store. The deactivation process will begin on September 15, 2025. From this date, BEW will no longer receive updates, bug fixes, or support. By October 15, it will also be removed from the extension store. Existing users may still have access to BEW, but the risks are entirely at their own risk. For a smooth transition, BEW users should safely back up seed phrases/private keys, save the recovery information and uninstall the BEW, and select a new wallet for future use.
