According to ChainCatcher, according to reports from FORTUNECRYPTO, John Egan, head of Stripe's crypto business, announced his resignation and will join PolygonLabs as Chief Product Officer (CPO) on Tuesday. Egan has led Stripe's major crypto acquisitions and businesses, including: the acquisition of Stablecoin Newcomer Bridge (completed in February this year), the acquisition of crypto wallet company Privy and Paradigm to develop its own blockchain Tempo. He said he chose to join Polygon because he was optimistic about its leading position in stablecoin micropayment. According to ArtemisAnalytics data, in July this year, 4.5 million active addresses on Polygon used stablecoins to trade, surpassing Ethereum's 2.9 million, and users are closer to the "daily payment" scenario.
