South Korea's $140 million V Global crypto scam accomplices from jail

According to Decrypt, South Korean court ruled that some of the accomplices in the V Global cryptocurrency scam had escaped imprisonment. Two company executives involved in the case were sentenced to 2-3 years in prison, but suspended for 3-4 years and fined about 13 million won (about $9,500). Previously, V Global founder Lee Byung-kun had been sentenced to 15 years in prison for running the pyramid scam, defrauding about 20,000 South Korean investors of $140 million.
