This upgrade will allow Bitcoin holders to participate in the Starknet consensus. Specific parameters include: the BTC staking weight is set to 0.25, which means that Bitcoin accounts for 25% of the consensus weight and STRK bears the remaining 75%; initially supports WBTC, LBTC, tBTC and SolvBTC, and other BTC derivatives will be added through governance; the staking release period is shortened from 21 days to 7 days, which is suitable for BTC and STRK stakers.
