Polkadot DAO's proposal to limit the supply of DOT tokens to 2.1 billion

Huobi HTX reported that Polkadot DAO has passed the referendum No. 1710, which limits the supply of DOT tokens to 2.1 billion, and receives 81% support. This will replace the current unlimited model of 120 million DOTs cast per year and reduce emissions by reducing new DOT issuance every 2 years.
