South Korea sentences three accomplices to probation and fines

According to ChainCatcher, the South Korean court sentenced three followers to V Global to three years in prison and probation, and fined 660 million won, 426 million won and 259 million won respectively. The court found that the three people deceived about 50,000 investors through multi-level marketing, with the amount involved in the case being approximately US$1.4 billion. The judge pointed out that the three people took advantage of the crypto assets boom and caused huge losses, but were given probation given some of the victims. Previously, V Global's CEO had been sentenced to 25 years in prison and several executives were sentenced to 14 years and 4 years.
