PANews reported on September 15 that although institutions have adopted Ethereum and Ethereum prices surged to historical highs in July and August, the ETH/BTC ratio has not yet rebounded to above 0.05. CoinGecko data shows that the ETH/BTC exchange rate has been below the 0.05 level since July 2024, which reached its historical peak of 0.14 in June 2017. Currently, the exchange rate has dropped to 0.039 from 0.04 in August. In March, the exchange rate fell to a five-year low and plummeted to 0.02 due to macroeconomic uncertainty and increased trade tensions between the United States and its trading partners. Market analyst James Check said that since its launch in 2015, Ethereum has performed better than Bitcoin only 15% of the time, and most of Ethereum's excellent performance occurred between 2015 and 2017; Bitcoin has performed better than Ethereum since 2020.
