Artificial intelligence-powered religious chatbots are gaining more attention, with applications such as Bible Chat having downloaded more than 30 million times, and Hallow topped the Apple app store. Critics warn that while these chatbots were designed to cite the Bible, they reinforce bias by verifying the user's perspective rather than providing spiritual insights, which may fuel delusional or conspiracy theory thinking.
