According to a financial disclosure report released on Saturday, Steve Witkoff, a real estate investor who serves as the peace envoy of Donald Trump, sold his interest in the real estate management company and received $120 million to resolve potential conflicts of interest. The document does not show whether it has been approved by White House ethics officials and was released only a few months after the financial disclosures of Trump team members who started serving on January 20 (Trump Inauguration Day). The disclosure report said Witkoff’s official start date was June 30, although he started working long before Trump returned to the office, helping to contribute to a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. He submitted his disclosure report in August.
