Coinbase defends token listing in fee debate with Justin Sun

Source: CoinWorld
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong clarified that the platform does not charge a fixed token listing fee in response to criticism from Tron founder Justin Sun. Justin Sun once accused Coinbase of requiring 500 million Tron coins (TRX) to be included in the currency. Armstrong said that the listing assessment is based on market demand, compliance and user interests, and does not charge any prepaid fees, but will uniformly charge standard transaction-based fees. Sun believes that high fees will hinder innovation and set obstacles for small projects. The debate underscores the ongoing tensions between large exchanges and independent developers regarding token access and fairness.
