Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence startup xAI has laid off 500 employees, accounting for about one-third of its 1,500 data annotation team. This is part of the company's strategic transformation, aiming to accelerate the development of professional AI mentors in areas such as STEM and finance, while reducing the positions of ordinary AI mentors. The company announced it will immediately expand its expert team by 10 times.
