According to Jin Shi, the Cyberspace Administration of China stated that in order to promote and standardize the promotion and application of electronic documents, improve the digitalization level of goods trade and transportation, reduce logistics costs in the whole society, protect the legitimate rights and interests of parties to electronic documents activities, and safeguard national security and social public interests, according to relevant laws and regulations, our office, in conjunction with relevant departments, has drafted the "Regulations on Promoting and Standardizing the Application of Electronic Documents (Draft for Soliciting Opinions)" and is now soliciting public opinions from the public. It mentioned that institutions and enterprises in the fields of goods trade, logistics, finance, etc. are encouraged to recognize and use electronic documents when conducting business, improve the digital level of business applications, and promote the industry's quality and efficiency improvement. Financial institutions are encouraged to explore the use of new payment methods such as digital RMB to carry out cross-border payments based on the characteristics of electronic documents, and to actively and steadily carry out innovation in financial products and service models based on the conditions of compliance with the law and controllable risks.
