Huobi HTX reported that considering the decrease in tax laws, tariffs and net immigration by US President Donald Trump, the Congressional Budget Office (CB0) raised its forecast for U.S. inflation and unemployment this year, lowering expectations for economic growth. The agency's economic forecast released on Friday showed that the U.S. economy will grow 1.4% in 2025, down from the January forecast of 1.9%. Inflation will rise to 3.1%, nearly one percentage point higher than previous forecasts, based on the Fed's preferred inflation indicator. The report also shows that the U.S. unemployment rate is expected to peak at a higher 4.5% by the end of this year.
