People CEO calls Google a "bad guy" and accuses the company of stealing content

Source: CoinWorld
People, Inc. CEO Neil Vogel accused Google of using the same web crawler in its search engines and artificial intelligence products, in fact, “stealing” publisher content without giving fair rewards. He noted that in recent years, Google's share of the company's traffic has dropped from 65% to a little over 20%. Although his company has a content deal with OpenAI, it blocks unpaid AI crawlers through Cloudflare's solution. However, Google's crawlers cannot be blocked without losing search traffic, which Vogel calls intentional malicious behavior. Other industry leaders and Cloudflare’s CEO have also criticized the content practices of large tech companies and predicted changes in regulation and payment methods in the future.
