Kalshi predicts that the probability of U.S. government shutdown this year hits the highest level since February

According to data from forecast market Kalshi, the market is currently expected to be 54% likelihood of the U.S. government shutdown this year, the highest level in months. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer warned Thursday that Democrats are ready to dry up government funds if Republicans refuse to include key health care clauses in any deal.
