Swiss Bank UBS lowers gas price forecast

Source: CoinWorld
UBS analysts lowered their forecasts for natural gas prices, citing global risks and macroeconomic uncertainty, and LNG capacity growth is expected to outweigh demand growth. They predict that natural gas prices will drop to about $13 per million BTU in 2025, to $11.50 in 2026, to $10.50 in 2027, and to $8 by 2030, which is consistent with the market's general expectation that natural gas prices will fall by 30% to $9 in 2027. Companies such as Equinor, Shell and Total Energy may be affected. UBS shares have risen 35% this year to $40.90 per share.
