Polymarket solves price-related betting problems with Chainlink oracles

Polymarket has integrated Chainlink's oracle infrastructure to automate market settlements and provide verifiable data, low-latency price information is provided using Chainlink Data Streams, and timed settlement is used using Chainlink Automation. The upgrade is now available on Polygon for cryptocurrency trading pairs, aiming to speed up results generation and reduce the risk of tampering. The collaboration also explores the application of Chainlink data to subjective issues to minimize reliance on social voting and address issues such as payment delays and manipulation that have existed in the past. Chainlink founder Sergey Nazarov said oracle-supported settlements will transform the forecast market into a “reliable real-time signal.”
