Filecoin has upgraded its FEVM protocol to enhance security features including support for point addition, pairing checking, and scalar multiplication of the BLS12-381 curve, and supports threshold signatures, zero-knowledge proofs, and secure identity systems for DeFi and storage authentication. After the announcement, the FIL price rose from $2.48 to $2.56 before retracement to $2.50, down 0.45%, and trading volume fell 12.47% to $155.49 million.
