Markets expect the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates slightly by 25 basis points next week

Source: ChainCatcher
According to ChainCatcher, according to Kingshin, the market currently expects the Fed to have a 92% chance of a slight cut of 25 basis points at the upcoming meeting, while the probability of an aggressive 50 basis points is only 8%. Although inflation data are not particularly surprising, a weaker labor market could provide more room for the Fed. If negative signals continue in the coming weeks, the Fed may be inclined to take bolder moves. However, Gule added that the Fed's current position is still highly cautious and is more likely to make minor adjustments, while retaining room for further easing of subsequent meetings.
