A new malware called ModStealer that has not been detected by mainstream antivirus engines in nearly a month, stealing data from encrypted wallets on Windows, Linux, and macOS systems. The malware spreads through fake job ads targeting developers, scans wallet extensions, credentials, and certificates, and leaks data to remote servers. SlowMist's CIS warned that the malware evaded detection and posed a significant risk to encrypted users and platforms, potentially leading to asset losses and mass attacks.
