Bitlayer successfully migrated to Chainlink CCIP, establishing it as an official cross-chain infrastructure to empower YBTC

PANews September 12th news Bitlayer, the Bitcoin infrastructure project that promotes BTC DeFi, has successfully moved to Chainlink CCIP and has CCIP as its standard cross-chain infrastructure. CCIP now supports secure transfers between Bitlayer and Ethereum, involving Bitlayer's local token BTR, as well as USDC, USDT, ETH and wstETH. The next milestone will be to realize cross-chain nativeization of YBTC through CCIP, making YBTC a trustworthy multi-chain income-packaged Bitcoin token. BitVM marks an important step in expanding Bitcoin’s capabilities, surpassing its primary use as a digital currency. Based on the revolutionary BitVM paradigm, expressing Turing-complete Bitcoin contracts through forward verification solutions, YBTC enables Bitcoin holders to mint native representatives of BTC in a de-trustworthy manner, and Chainlink CCIP will serve as a key component of YBTC’s multi-chain deployment.
