Bitcoin Meets Ethereum: Bitlayer uses Chainlink's Secure CCIP Technology to Bridge Blockchain

Bitlayer is a Bitcoin Layer 2 protocol that has now integrated Chainlink's cross-chain interoperability protocol (CCIP) to enable secure and de-trustworthy transmission between Bitlayer and Ethereum. This move enhances Bitcoin’s scalability and smart contract capabilities, and leverages Ethereum’s ecosystem for cross-chain DeFi, token bridge and dApp development. Bitlayer has received $30 million in funding from investors such as Polychain Capital to enhance interoperability and expand Bitcoin-based applications through its BTR tokens, thereby promoting governance and practicality.
