According to Coinjie.com, ME News, on September 12 (UTC+8), Gemini Space Station Inc., a cryptocurrency exchange founded by Cameron Winklevoss and Tyler Winklevoss, raised approximately $425 million in a Nasdaq initial public offering (IPO), with an issue price of $28 per share, higher than the previous marketing range of $24 to $26, with a total of approximately 15.2 million shares issued. Nasdaq Inc. has agreed to acquire $50 million in a private placement at an IPO price, according to the documents. Gemini will allocate up to 10% of its share to long-term users, management, employees and their relatives and friends, and up to 30% to retail investors on platforms such as Robinhood, SoFi and Webull. Gemini was founded in 2014 and currently has more than US$18 billion in platform assets.
