Source: PANews
PANews reported on September 12 that according to Bloomberg, OpenAI is approaching an agreement with its largest shareholder Microsoft to plan to launch a new charity company controlled by existing non-profit organizations. The non-profit organization will receive at least $100 billion in equity, accounting for about 20% of the company's valuation. The two sides have signed a memorandum of understanding and Microsoft agreed to continue in-depth cooperation. The restructuring still needs approval from the attorney general of California and Delaware and faces challenges in Elon Musk's lawsuit.
