Bit Digital Inc fails to reach a quorum for new shares to purchase Ethereum

Source: CoinWorld
According to Bijie.com, on September 12 (UTC+8), mining company Bit Digital Inc (NASDAQ: BTBT) failed to reach the quorum required to issue new shares to purchase Ethereum in the shareholder vote, and the company decided to postpone the relevant meeting until September 17 to be held again. BTBT currently holds more than 100,000 Ethereum and is one of the largest institutional holders among publicly listed companies. The new stock issuance was originally planned to further expand Ethereum holdings. The news comes as Ethereum-related digital asset trusts are trading at prices below net asset value (NAV), which market participants believe may provide potential opportunities for institutional investors.
