Ethereum core developers' salary is 60% lower than market level

Source: Binance
According to Shenzhen Chao TechFlow, Protocol Guild's latest salary report shows that most core Ethereum developers are paid less than half of the market level. The survey shows that the average revenue of Ethereum core contributors is $157,939, about 60% lower than the market salary. Nearly 40% of respondents received job offers from other companies in the past year, but many core contributors chose to reject high-paying positions to focus on maintaining the Ethereum network. The report warns that such underpayment could threaten talent retention and technology roadmap execution, affecting the trustworthiness neutrality of the $400 billion network.
